Playing shopkeeper at the Christmas Market

After a month at the market - was it worth it? Gratitude fills me for our small group of 4 artists. For our little cabin, for everything that shaped our world. For the support of friends, families, colleagues, passers-by.

A thought as well for everyone from the market itself, from being part of something - it felt like being on the other side of the mirror.

Was it worth it?

Absolutely worth it! From stormy, solitary days to sunny ones with more visitors. For the connections made, group cohesion, learning experimental sales skills, and financial progress toward a professional illustrator career.

Selling original pieces and seeing strangers buy my book was powerful. A month spent acting rather than overthinking, enjoying the moment... while looking forward to the end. 4 weeks, with a break in the middle, was long, really long.

If you have any questions about the market, please ask! I think it will even help me when I do my final review.

Meanwhile, I've sent my book Autogares everywhere, north, south, west, through the mail, here and there. You can see it here in Limoges, with a little note slipped inside. The book doesn't expire at Christmas (hehe), and it's still possible to order it. I printed 100 copies, and 80 sold already :D

Apart from that: I'm sending this newsletter late, I'm glad you're subscribed, I hope the year is ending well for you, I look forward to handling this newsletter in a more relaxed manner, I still haven't finished Inktober (the October drawing challenge), but well, it's not a big deal.

Sending the newsletter was important to me even if it's late.
